Итак, господа и дамы, свершилось! С великими трудностями, задержкой во времени, однако Long War, of the Chosen добралась до релиза!

Прежде всего, я хочу сказать, что очень рад тому факту, что прекраснейшее дополнение адаптировали под XCOM 2 WotC! Это клёво!


ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ!!! Для запуска игры и управления модами разработчики настоятельно рекомендуют использовать только Alternative Mod Launcher

А LWOTC работает не на стимовской версии WOTC ?

Добрый день. возник вопрос. Появился баг или ошибка, при направлении определенных людей на проникновение , сверху добавляется еще двое. То есть отправляю 3 человека на миссию, то в обзоре отряда их 5. Можно этот баг решить или уже до след. обновы?

Странно, создал папку мод как в инструкции сказано, распаковал, файлы нигде не отображаются.
 
Вадим, Фираксис наворотил, что теперь новый лаунчер не отображает моды в локальной папке, только в стимовской.

Странно, а вы не пробовали в AML нажать Options - Settings - Add и указать путь к локальной папке с модами?

При старте новой кампании необходимо отключить "Потерянные и заблудшие" (Lost and Abandoned) и обучение! Если вы хотите играть с Избранными, в этом случае вам необходимо включить "Chosen second wave option" (опция находится в дополнительных настройках.
Кнопка потерянных и заблудших не активна в доп настройках никакой второй волны нет.
 
Вадим, значит, ты что-то делаешь не так. Ещё раз, внимательнее, учитывая каждый шаг, соблюдая последовательность. ;)

Да вроде все правильно делаю, после начала новой игры кнопка потерянные неактивна вылезает иконка что она отключена в ЛОНГ ВАР. В доп настройках нет второй волны. Может это нужно было в предыдущих версиях мода а теперь все автоматом делается.
 
Через AML включайте игру. Я на днях переустанавливал мод - все нормально.
 
На всякий случай, вдруг кто не знает.
Гранатометчики адвента содержат в себе ПБМ. Зондирование их черепной миной будет давать ПБМ.
Удивительно, что после такого большого количества часов игры я только сейчас это заметил. :)

Народ, а где в конфигах подправить, что бы стреляли по сгинувшим автоматически?
 
Приветствую! В свое время проходил Long War 2, теперь решил поиграть в этот мод адаптированный под WOTC. На данный момент прошел примерно треть кампании, в целом очень доволен, мод даже лучше, чем LW2. Несколько недель собирал свою сборку модов под LWOTC, сейчас тестирую, полет нормальный, всего установлено почти 90 модов. Хочу сказать 1 момент отн-но модов, добавляющих новых врагов (Better advent, EU Berserkers, Armored Viper и тп): все они практически не спавнят (очень редко) юнитов из этих модов, т.к. LW использует свои списки врагов, исправляется это легко путем корректировки файла XComEncounterLists.ini , если кому интересно, могу поделиться своими правками, дабы видеть новых юнитов в моде с нормальной частотой
Также, просматривая файлы LWotc, нашел незадействованного юнита -- генерал адвента (внешне отличается от сержантов адвента и прочих офицеров -- нет шлема, пафосный вид и тп), довольно неплохой усиленный офицер, добавить его в мод просто -- прописать в файл XComEncounterLists.ini текст

Pentakvark, просто замечательно! Если ты файлом выложишь свой spawn list - это будет прекрасно! Прикрепи его в своё сообщение, если захочешь.

Если не трудно,можно выложить файлом ,а то что то не так добавиться и возникнут проблемы?Я как понял,в сполере это только для генерала Адвента.
 
grover и Вова Хайтов, у себя я спавн листы прописывал для каждого мода отдельно. Скорее всего ничего страшного не будет, если их вписать в encounterlist мода Long War и все будет работать скорее всего, но на 100% я не уверен. Поэтому давайте я лучше выложу отдельно спавн листы для модов с новыми юнитами, которые установлены у меня.
Итак первый мод это Better Advent, кинуть в папку "1126623381 A Better ADVENT_ War of the Chosen\Config" с заменой:

Просто открываете файл XComEncounterLists.ini указанного мода, удаляете все что там написано и вставляете что под спойлером. Когда я вносил правки, то изменения у меня работали сразу в кампании в новых миссиях, но особо я не тестировал кампанию по ходу которой вносились правки а начинал новую, скорее всего все будет работать в начатой кампании, но для надежности лучше начать заново.
И еще 1 момент: с этими правками оригинальные юниты Лонг Вора будут спавниться чаще, чем юниты указанных модов, в начальных миссиях (пока сила адвента 1-2 единицы) Лонг Варовских юнитов будет 80-90%, постепенно соотношение изменится примерно 65-70% юнитов Лонг Вара, а остальное из модов. Также в некоторых миссиях не будет юнитов из модов и вроде бы в подкреплениях адвента тоже, т.к. для некоторых миссий и подкреплений используются другие списки и их надо выискивать еще, но в подавляющем большинстве рядовых миссий все работает

если хотите видеть юнитов из модов чаще, то за это отвечает параметр "SpawnWeight=2". Вместо двойки (или другой цифры, которая стоит) ставьте ицифры от пяти и выше (хоть 200), чем выше значение, тем выше вероятность спавна, но по своим наблюдениям при значении 30 у меня некоторые юниты были практически на каждой миссии, большинство юнитов Лонг Вара использует значение от 1 до 5

Error: Redscreen: ImportText (SpawnDistributionLists): Missing value for property '\\'
Подобная проблема есть у мода [WOTC] Advent Psi Ops, автор мода писал, что это незначительная ошибка и лог ругается из-за того, что разные моды используют один и тот же список и их неплохо бы объединить, но на работоспособность это никак не влияет

Также, просматривая файлы LWotc, нашел незадействованного юнита -- генерал адвента (внешне отличается от сержантов адвента и прочих офицеров -- нет шлема, пафосный вид и тп), довольно неплохой усиленный офицер,

Вообще то он задействован - это хозяин "базы адвента", штурм которой необходимое условие освобождения региона.
 
Kirsann, некоторые моды изменены немного, например оружие из мода Call of Duty_ Black Ops III __ Weapon Pack изменено, чтобы не нарушало баланс -- покупается поштучно, статы равны лонгворовскому оружию, убраны всякие ППШ так выглядят не футуристично и тп.
Мод Better Advent лучше опустить ниже Лонг Вора в порядке загрузки, чтобы полностью работали его правки ИИ, также и для мода Mechatronic Warfare_ Total SPARK Overhaul, в моде I'm the Commander here в конфигах xLWOTC=false заменить на true

иначе там баг у меня был с модом WotC Stealth Overhaul ( или WotC Tactical Suppressors), что камера при бесшумных выстрелах уходит под пол и показывает персонажа снизу

зы: да и для модов типа Raider Faction рекомендую поставить мод [DEPRECATED] Guarantee Third Parties, он увеличивает шанс ситрепа для этих фракций, я его перенес в конфиги у себя, поэтому его нет в списке

Столкнулся с проблемой,у технического специалиста нет возможности выбора ракетомета,и ракеты в снабжении не подсвечиваются для выбора,рокетлаунчер установлен,но ракет и ракетомета нигде и ни у кого нет.А играть без ракет как то скучновато,да и на сложных миссиях ракеты многое решают.
 
grover, открой в папке Mods\LongWarOfTheChosen\Config\XComClassData.ini и найди строку "[LWS_Technical X2SoldierClassTemplate]", потом после
"+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon, WeaponType="lw_gauntlet")" добавь строку с
"+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon, WeaponType="iri_rocket_launcher")".
